Jeg jobber innenfor et bredt spekter av medier – skulpturer, installasjoner, keramikk, tegninger og kortfilmer, og bruker mangefasetterte materialer og teknikker for å formidle historiene de forteller. Inspirasjonskilden min kommer fra personlige erfaringer som barndomsminner, en forkjærlighet for folkekunst og kultur, og en oppmerksom observasjon av omgivelsene mine.
Tilbakevendende temaer i arbeidet mitt er menneskehetens forhold til kunst og spiritualitet, en utviklende fellesskapsfølelse i håndverk, og den direkte opplevelsen i å lage. Repeterende rytmiske mønstre har lenge vært et estetisk hovedbegrep i mitt arbeid. I daglig praksis utforsker jeg kunstneriske kvaliteter ved disse sentrale fascinasjonene ved å involvere sted, estetikk og kunnskap om materialer og teknikker.
