Atelier Kunstnerforbundet received this year’s Honorary Award

With this award, the Oslo Open board wishes to honour Atelier Kunstnerforbundet for taking the significant initiative to create a new studio program within the framework of an established art institution.

Young Guides at Startblokka

During Oslo Open young guides will work at Startblokka to wish guests welcome. You can join them for guided tours to the artists in the building. This project is a collaboration between Oslo Open, Startblokka, and the District of Bjerke.

Meet the new director of Oslo Open

Frida Rusnak is the new director of Oslo Open, starting November 1st, 2021. She continues the work carried out by previous leaders Tanja Sæter, Marianne Zamecznik and most recently Marthe Elise Stramrud, who have all made a huge effort to establish Oslo Open as an important event in the Norwegian arts scene, and a gateway to the city’s artist studios.

Tenthaus receives The Oslo Open Honorary Award

The prize for 2021 went to the artist collective Tenthaus. The award was given out by the city council member Omar Samy Gamal (SV) together with chairman of the board Trond Hugo Haugen and director Marthe Elise Stramrud. Read more about the award here.
