Meet the new director of Oslo Open
Frida Rusnak is the new director of Oslo Open, starting November 1st, 2021. She continues the work carried out by previous leaders Tanja Sæter, Marianne Zamecznik and most recently Marthe Elise Stramrud, who have all made a huge effort to establish Oslo Open as an important event in the Norwegian arts scene, and a gateway to the city’s artist studios.
Frida Rusnak (b. Sandefjord 1987) holds a Master’s Degree in art history and has several years of experience in building bridges between the professional arts field and new audience groups, from projects at Kunsthall Oslo, and Transcultural Arts Production (TrAP). She has also worked at the Norwegian Arts Council as a communication advisor. Frida Rusnak lives and works in Oslo. She is a graduate of the University of Oslo, the International University of Catalonia, Barcelona, and OsloMet.
