Planlagte prosjekter og utstillinger

Exhibition. In early 2025, my work will be part of “Like Diamonds in your pocket”, a group show at Norsk Billedhogerforening.

Residency. In the late summer, I’ll participate in a month-long residency at Skrida, an art space and publishing house in west Iceland, to produce my new project “Fish Tails” (video and printed matter)

Exhibition. In 2025, I am also preparing for a solo exhibition at Papai Contemporary (Oslo), curated by Felipe Peña, to take place in early 2026.

Project. The project “Apellido” is the working title of my upcoming collaboration with the Oslo-based artist Lucia Aragón; in relation to lineage, dispossession, and affection. These conversations mark the beginning of a shared project, spanning from March 2025 to June 2026: This includes research texts like “Feminismo Bastardo” (2021) by Maria Galindo; two research trips: Durango and Culiacán—our hometowns.

Program curator/Festival. I am part of Verdensrommet (mutual support network for non-eu artists in Norway). This year, our network is turning 5 years old and we are preparing a satelite-program taking place simultaneously in different art spaces across Norway. The public program will focus on celebrating allyship and mutual support, as well as generating dialogue around the changing panorama in culture, education and migration policies in the country. The festival will take place the last week of November.

Project. “Amigrantes” is a ongoing conversation, with the aims of collaboration, between the iceland-based artist Hugo Llanes, the curator Ana Victoria Bruno, based in Switzerland, and I. This arises from sharing experiences as young art practitioners moving to nordic countries from latinoamerica. The axes of our collaboration are ideas on mutual support, friendship, and mobility justice.
