Anja Carr transformerer dyr og lekefigurer med overforbruk og klimkrise som bakteppe. Verkene følger en drømmelogikk som utfordrer vante kategoriskeringer av kjønn, mennesker og dyr, barn og voksne. Carr utforsker «abjektet» – ting som faller mellom subjekt og objekt og kan virke frastøtende. Fra anmeldelser av separatutstillinger 2023:
