Etasje: 1
Atelieret er åpent lørdag 27. april kl 12-17
My work is underpinned by ideas and/or themes that are conceived by current moments in time. I create analogies and metaphors for what is happening around me, in my own life and in the world. I work with simple, geometric forms and build my pieces by hand. Surfaces are left unglazed and coloured naturally by the different clays that I use. I recently returned to Norway after living in New Zealand for 20 years. An art director and designer by trade, I discovered clay while based there.

I mitt atelier
I have studio space in a shared ceramic workshop at Kroloftet. We have 12 full-time spaces and around 20 part timers who come and go. It’s a busy and collaborative space, with a lot going on. The building also houses a full wood workshop, metal- and textile- workshops and a large network of people who work in different disciplines within the creative sector.
