Rejecting to see things, including his own work as static objects, rather as dynamic and curious beings. Quin Scholten together with the clay is creating shapes that question the relationship between those beings and us humans. Having previously studied product design he is critical about mass production and mass consumption culture where the objectification of things, landscapes, humans and other life forms is a dominant force. He is striving for encounters that carry more care, curiosity, and consideration with the things that surrounds us.

I mitt atelier
In my studio you can see works in process, tools of making, and the space we work in as master students. My studio is close to the other ceramic Master students with their open studio’s.
