The studio is open Sunday 27 April from 12-17

I work within visual language with many different expressions and techniques. Many of the motifs revolve around the relationship between animals and humans and our lack of understanding of our place in nature.
The drawings explore man’s vulnerable and contradictory relationship to the world we live in: I try to depict our attempts to create security in a reality full of forces greater than ours. We shield ourselves and create distance from the nature around us and within us. Many of the subjects in my pictures represent our outer armor that we wear as individuals and culture. The process of making the images is a battle between a controlled line with a clear form and a dynamic eruptive process.
