Opening party and honorary award announcement
Welcome to Oslo Open’s opening party where we celebrate the beginning of this year’s studio weekend!

Friday, April 21th at 8 pm, we welcome you to our opening party and the announcement of this years honorary reward recipient at Kunstnernes Hus.
The evening will feature a program curated by ØST KUNST:
- Poet and write Jeannine Masika Harryson will host the evening. Harryson will present her poems and lead us through the program.
- Musician Solo Diarra plays the West African instrument ngoni calabash. He is accompanied on stage by his good friend and drummer Bacary Sagna.
- DJ Orio will get the dance floor moving in the late hours of the evening. As a producer and DJ, Orio is known for creating a good atmosphere with music sets that fascinate the audience.
This Oslo Open board will announce the recipient of this years honorary award. The purpose of this award is to honor someone who has made a very special contribution to artists’ work situation – for studio, production or working conditions. The award recipient could be an individual, a group or an organization.
The event is in collaboration with Kunstnernes Hus and ØST KUNST.
