Few people know that the Oslo Open offices are located in one of the oldest lofts in the city centre. On Saturday 23 March, the timber will shake, as everyone is welcome to an evening of music, Kurdish folk dance and a celebration of spring!

This is an evening of sharing, so please to bring a dish or dessert and something to drink that you can share with the community.

Newroz is a day for the whole family! Throughout the evening there will be activities such as egg painting and storytelling for the little ones.

On the ground floor, at the gallery BO, you also get the chance to see “Daddy’s shoes”: https://www.billedkunstnerneioslo.no/amir-asgharnejad/, and the artist Amir Asgharnejad will give a tour of the exhibition.

Newroz is a celebration of the spring equinox. It is an important celebration in several cultures as it marks the beginning of the new year. We look forward to welcoming spring together!
