The sculptures, scaled down in miniature format or up in macro format, are displayed individually or as part of installations or stagings. The sculptures are modeled in clay, plasticine or designed in wood, styrofoam, plaster. They are cast in plaster, epoxy or bronze, painted or patinated polychrome or monochrome. The sculptures are often depictions of people, animals and objects. They can give associations to model and toy objects and often have autobiographical, everyday or popular cultural references.
Thematically, I want to challenge the traditional function of the portrait statue. By replacing famous people with everyday people, I want to elevate those people who are not usually honored, ordinary people that people can identify with.
Painted studies in watercolor, acrylic or oil. Drawings in various techniques.
In parallel with visual art, I work with text and music
