I work with the basic components of painting – color, form, matter, observation, emotion, experience and a hungry heart.
I compose deliberately and seriously at a high risk and with as much openness as I can muster.
I try to find a precise, poetic and sensual expression of experience and drama.
Painting is my daily practice – now and then I do other things.

In my studio
An organized workspace for painting and work with stained glass with materials, tools and some works in progress.
Planned projects and exhibitions
Currentlig I am preparing paintings that have been commissioned for a ship. I am also planning and preparing a solo exhibition with paintings and works on paper at Galleri Semmingsen in Oslo in 2026.
I also work in stained glass with preparations for soliciting more public commissions.
