Viktor Pedersen (b. 1988) works interdisciplinary with video, text, sound and sculpture. In his artistic practice he is interested in subverting the established understanding that humans are autonomous beings. Pedersen does this by looking at how the body is not a delimited entity, but a place inhabited by multiple subjects, both living and dead. From microscopic agents such as bacteria and yeast, to our ancestors who haunt our genetic material.
