Nicole Ward (born Belfast) is an Irish artist who graduated with an MFA in Fine Art from Oslo National Academy of the Arts in 2023. She is alumni of School of the Damned (2017), an autonomous free art school in the UK. She received her BA in Fine Art from University College Falmouth, UK, in 2009.
She is a co-founder of Snails (2024-) – a new studio collective/project space in central Oslo, & a co-founder of Oslo Crit Klubb (2023-) – a peer critique/support group working out of artists’ studio in the city.
Alongside her studio practice, Nicole organises D.I.Y. events including: KH_KinoMix.mov, Kunstnernes Hus, Oslo, NO (2024 & 2023); lip-flap: Laura Phillips, Greg Pope, Vicky Smith, Deichman Grünerløkka, Oslo, NO (2022); An Evening in the Dark with Diego Marcon (in conversation with Mike Sperlinger), Black Box (KhiO), Oslo, NO (2021).
