As a visual artist, I have been interested in places, atmosphere, poetry, history and space. Storytelling and architecture have been central to much of my practice. I often find inspiration in the local environment, the place I am in at all times.
The urban space has been the theme and inspiration in several of my recent years’ projects. Works in a visual field of tension between recognizable materials, utility items and found material in a more or less processed state.

Since 1970 31 solo exhibitions, 56 group exhibitions, participated in Østlandsexhibition 6 times, Høstutstillingen 9 times, UKS springexhibitions 3 times, and various exhibitions abroad. Made various commision works since 1987.
Had several residencies in Norway and abroad. For 10 years collaborated with two other artists with the impletation of large international landscape projects both as artist and curator, a project during Olympic games Lillehammer 1994. Received various grants since 1968, most recently a 3-year workgrant 2023-24-25. For the moment planning a big solo exhibition in Kunstbanken center for contemporary art, Hamar, opening August
