26—27 April

Peik Elias

(He/him)
Address: Dollhuset Atelierfelleskap, Storgata 36F, 0182 Oslo
Floor: 2
The studio is open Sunday 27 April from 12-17

Peik Elias uses painting and sculpture to explore the intersubjective and transcendent. His work weaves fragmented narratives and allusions to historical and contemporary myths, reflecting life’s contrasts: the weighty and the ethereal, the tragic and the comic.

Central to Peik’s process is allowing his pieces to unfold through interchange, emphasizing imagery’s primacy. He believes visual language, predating verbal communication, taps into the subconscious and evokes visceral emotions. Peik’s point of departure is that logic can’t fully grasp being, and that visual language stimulates reflection inaccessible to words alone.

Peik invites viewers to engage with his art as transformative acts of co-creation. He holds advanced degrees in Fine Art, Design, and Philosophy, and has exhibited, worked and lived across Europe.
