Music is an artist whose practice operates at the intersection of technology, materiality, and conceptual exploration. His artistic work spans a variety of media, including video, installation, and sculpture, incorporating materials such as metal, textiles, projections, broken screens, weaving, prints, and various light sources. Site-specific installations and moving images are recurring elements in Music’s work. His previous projects have often been rooted in a conceptual investigation of the future, critically examining the modern technology that shapes our everyday lives. Music’s focus includes themes such as digitalization, surveillance, and light as a source of information, reflecting on how much of the information we process today is mediated through illuminated screens.
Broken or defective monitors, screens, and surveillance cameras play a fundamental role in his practice, serving as symbolic anchors for his sculptural expressions.
