26—27 April

Madelon Anne-Marie Verbeek

(She/her)
Address: Kunstnernes Hus, Wergelandsveien 17, 0167 Oslo
Floor: 2
The studio is open Sunday 27 April from 12-17

My practice revolves around any encounter that I in everyday life could stumble upon. Both on personal and general, international level, heard first or secondhand. My work is a combination of personal experiences and convictions, intertwining with political perspectives on current, pressing issues, debates and events. In addition to the core of my works, which flows out of meeting, interviewing, and conversing with individuals about their perspectives and experiences, I employ a figurative, storytelling language influenced by my background in art history.
