Address: Trafo Kunstnerhus, Hovinveien 1, 0576 Oslo
Floor: 2.
Room number: 2010
The studio is open Saturday 26 April from 12-17

In her artistic practice, Boger

works with collages and three-dimensional textile objects, using the textile tradition as a starting point and with formal
experiments in colour and geometry as foundational elements. The strategy is simple and direct, and the textile material’s
texture and structure help guide the creation process. With her keen interest in re-use and recycling, Boger often uses
wool in combination with vegetal fibres. Organic and naturally unstable phenomena are sources of inspiration. The
materials are dyed by hand and processed further with block printing, paintbrush, monotype, pastel chalk, handsewing/embroidery and lamination.
In the exhibition Black & White, Boger shows a series of small-format geometrical images called Variables.
