The world is full of forms, shapes, patterns colours and textures
I try to transform/translate/interpret what I see and to express it in a contemporary way with a resonance to the past.And I try to respect what has been handed over to me by predecessors in the textile field.
Sometimes I know what inspires me, sometimes I don’t.Sometimes I have a story to tell, or a statement to make, sometimes I leave it to the object or the carrier of my piece of craft.
Felt or the medium felt give me the possibility to immerse and wander deep into ideas and I make works both on a large or in a small scale. With felt I can gather and use all my textile knowledge and experience by blending and merge techniques depending on what I make. The opportunities are endless
