Siri Ekker Svendsen is a visual artist, working with different photographic material, both scientific, documentary and personal. She examines the relationship between nature, perception and consciousness, and the connection between imagination, animism and biology.
Siri Ekker Svendsen holds an MFA from Bergen Academy of Art and Design, Norway. Her previous exhibitions include among others Malmö Konsthall, Sweden; Kunstgarasjen; Grünerløkka Kunsthall; Galleri F15; Preus Fotomuseum; Høstutstillingen, and several exhibitions in Norway and internationally.
In 2022, her first artist book titled “All the Whisperings of the World” was published by Multipress.
