Address: Thereses gate 35B, 0354 Oslo
Floor: kjeller
Room number: 8
The studio is open Sunday 28 April from 12-17

I work a lot with woodcuts in both black and white and in colours. I work with saw and knives. The size is limited by the distance between my hands and my belly. Through the years I have made large wall objects inspired from my woodcuts used both indoor and outdoor.
Language is fun and important. To add a title to a picture changes a lot. In a picturbook you can share the experience of being man or mouse in both text and pictures.

In my studio

My workspace is my second home. I have a large, press for my graphic works, and lots of painting and works on paper stored and un- stored. Prints are hanging from clothespin on the walls. I try to keep my plants alive in the winter and in the warmer season I invite the birds outside to eat old bread an have a bath in my kitchen pots and trays. Many visitors come!

Planned projects and exhibitions

Nowadays I am occupied with three book projects; text and pictures. One I intend to produce and publish myself. I have presented two other projects to an established publisher. I work with my woodcut plates, some are just sketches, some are through the first rounds in the press. I am interested in and apply, like many others, for exhibitions contract and art commissions.
