My practice navigates adaptation and change, moving towards a lighter one, seeking to dismantle and reduce heavy processes so I can bring them to their minimum portable part, until they become almost imperceptible. I move towards something I can perceive, while recognizing myself as an immigrant, in the territory of distance. Using material that represents the interstice between the new and the used, I search within the endemic relationships where the natural is confused with the artificial. I look for and use minimal elements in interventions, images, and actions to understand a tiny part of the universe.

In my studio
My studio is a place where materials archived for years are dismantled, lightened, and recreated. Every component of this archive is in a process of becoming—something else, a portable object, another archive, something lighter.
