26—27 April

Preben Holst

(He/him)
Address: Bjørka, Schweigaardsgate 34D, 0191 Oslo
Floor: 3
The studio is open Saturday 27 April from 12-17

Preben Holst works in photography, film and installation. The ambiguity of youth, masculinity and melancholy is a vital part of his vocabulary. Occasionally, he allows the lush green scenery often used as a backdrop for portraits, to take center stage. Holst holds an MFA from Malmö Art Academy and has exhibited in The National Museum, Oslo, and various other museums in Scandinavia. He has published two monographies; Things That Never Happened (Teknisk Industri, 2017) and The Stranger (Skira, 2023).
