Sara-Lovise Ask Ewertson (b.1991 Sweden/Norway). Ask’s artistic practice often starts from a clothing/textile perspective, but is presented through installation/sculpture/drawing/digital textile sculptures. Thematically, she has worked on how textiles/clothes relate to climate change in the last projects. She questions what happens to a society where the majority of textile knowledge is moved far away from those who consume it the most.
After her MA from Konstfack, she has among other things shown her works at Röhsska, Ark des, Umeå Konsthall, 3rd våningen, Gallery 46 in London, Form/design center in Malmö, BO, Podium, Spriten Kunsthall and SOFT gallery, etc.
