Based in the textile medium I work with technique, precision and construction. I often use systems as a tool for framing my projects:
-Textile grids arranged in layer upon layer in piles and in folds, build up landscapes and sculptures. The installations are structures that create movement in perspective and in colour.
Each piece is build on site, formed by the space´ qualities of both resistance and inspiration. The works are temporary and unique for each display.
In the loom my weavings origin from basic weaving techniques. I seek to find the techniques own language, freed from the traditional use.
