I am interested in traces, patterns and legacies, withered plants, or things I find on the ground and which are often picked up. Remnants of lived life inspire me. The tactile is at least as important as the visual.
Most of all, I make balls, lumps, “eggs” and stones from clay and work in series where there are often small variations in size, shape, patterns and surfaces.
Series are also when the projects are about photographing “things” I see around me. It can be organized chronologically, alphabetically, by similarities, differences, colors or patterns.
The series represents investigations, affection and memories. The collection can be constantly changed by putting it together in different ways which in turn can give new meanings.
