My works explore the act of gathering, preservation, and sharing of knowledge conveyed through Norwegian flora preserved in plant-dyed silk and weaving. The cultivation and gathering of plants for dyeing and printing are central to my artistic practice, and so both my process and my artworks are influenced by the natural cycles of the seasons.

The work Herbarium consists of two elongated frames in light wood, connected by two hinges. The piece stands like an open book in the space. The frames are 180 cm long and 60 cm wide. The frames function as a frame loom, with a light beige linen warp stretched across them. White silk with plant dyed prints is cut into strips and woven into squares in A5 format, with six plant prints woven into each frame.
