In recent years, I have used nature as a starting point in my pictures, while at the same time drawing inspiration from old fairy tales, superstitions and myths. It is a nature that can be both ugly and beautiful, grotesque and vulgar, terrifying and laughable. A nature that absorbs you, alive or dead, in love, bewitchment, transformation or decay.
