I have made field recordings, collecting sound, drawings, objects and paintings, text and materials since the early eighties.
I work with a loose and open border to how or when you enter or leave a work of art, a weak angle, the opposite of open provocation.
Advanced technique and materials combined with low-tech reflects my interest in the transportation of importance and meaning, existentially or politically, through different medias, ignoring the hierarchy commonly used.
My work includes site-specific installations with visuals and prepared objects with sound sources, preparation of spaces, pure
sound composition, and works for the street involving the audience and the actual space. I also collaborate with musicians and compose works based on field recordings, instruments and fragments of text, and the local acoustic sound from prepared
objects with sound sources.

Observatoriet Okulus, 2024, Performance and installation, objectys with sound sources, live vocal (Jacobsson) and acoustic trumpet (Hilde M Holsen).
For the opening of Okulus, and the first Symposie Skogstykker.
Okulus is a walking path built in the landscape by the chasm of Lågen, a collaboration with Dagur Eggertsson (Rintala Eggertsson Architects) and Eivind Slettemeås at Harpefoss Art Arena and the curator group w/Dagur Eggertsson, Eivind Evjemo, Maja S K Ratkje, Ewa Jacobsson.
In my studio
Ongoing work with found and prepared materials , objects with sound sources, visual prepartion of the space, sound, paintings and riddle drawings/scores for musicians. Drawings which are descriptions of processes and objects.

2026-27 Steel Table (Analysis of Violence), Object, sound composition based on recordings of the object´s sounds , vocal, live percussion.
