Floor: 3
The studio is open Saturday 26 April from 12-17

Linn Svensson is a textile artist whose main medium is embroidery. Her embroideries explores questions relating to roles one is assigned or adopts in the span of a lifetime and the ambiguities related to them. With a cartoonish imagery and playful compositions she embroiders situations reflecting on how these roles, depicted as figures, belong in the world. With the use of embroidery she wishes to honor the rich storytelling tradition tied to the textile craft and how it for a long time has been a source of everyday reflection in many homes.
