My work focuses on photography in large series, exploring the intersection of the generic and the unique: the matrix where the local meets the global. More specifically, I question whether our obsession with materialism has paradoxically alienated us from materiality.
I investigate this theme through analog medium-format photography, examining the expansion of grocery chains in Norway. In parallel, I am developing a book composed entirely of found photographs, which psychoanalyzes the market adaptation of stock imagery.

I will showcase prints from the series The Light from Kiwi, a growing photo series from Skjærhalden, Hvaler, where a Kiwi store has expanded into a cabin area where I spent much of my childhood. Additionally, I will present some earlier publications and Sverre’s Zine. Welcome!
