My artistic work has two parallel paths. One is painting and the other is the inter-disciplinary work as leader of the art group Verdensteatret. The groups studio is at the same place as my painting studio.
My paintings can be described as abstract compositions with nature as a constant bacground radiation. Painting as a kind of report from a certain field of awareness that is esclusively accessible through painting. Qualities appearing in the combination between the physical process of painting and the depht of focused awareness in a state where everything constantly shift between becoming something recognizable and sinking back into pure abstract colour and form. The awareness is the main purpose of these paintings.
