“Mapping the Unseen” and “The Revolt of Form” are titles of works in series developed recently. Nevertheless, they could serve as keywords for my entire artistic practice, because my art emerges from an investigation into the human mind’s symbolic placement in both external and internal landscapes. Exploration of existential questions such as identity, kinship, soul life is shaped by my upbringing, travel activity, education, and reactivation of my Lule Sámi heritage. This mapping of the unseen, or rebellion against fixed form, has given me a vibrant curiosity that shifts and magnifies emotional proportions in relation to one another in my works
Painting and Drawing

In my studio
I primarily express myself through painting and drawing. The paintings are mainly acrylic on canvas in various—and sometimes quite large—formats. My drawing practice explores graphite, charcoal, and ink. I also experiment with pushing the boundaries of the drawing medium into installation. In my artistic practice, I seek a balance between precision and expressiveness, where the work develops partly intuitively and partly guided by a strict internal narrative.
During a visit to my studio, I currently have a wide range of acrylic paintings and drawings available for a closer look into my artistic practice.
