Bella Fasmer (b. 2001, Bergen) depicts complex worlds that reflect on the contemporary times we live in, while at the same time exploring more intimate and recognizable snapshots. A consistent theme in her artistry is the meeting between the fabulating and the everyday, whether in detailed watercolors of imaginative landscapes or in everyday motifs depicted through bold brushstrokes. She has a background at Einar Granum Art School and Strykejernet Art School. Fasmer has previously shown works at, among others, Kunsthall Oslo, Galleri Vekta, Østkunst, OFF THE WALL at Kösk, Platform Projects and Memphis. She made her debut at the Autumn Exhibition in 2022.

In my studio
In my studio I work with several different works in different styles in all sizes. On the walls are pasted watercolors that are in progress. You can see the development of sketch to finished painting and notes that started the picture itself. There is also a lot of acrylic and oil paintings which are also in process and also finished.
