Gangdal’s art is characterized by great curiosity for both motifs and materials. His abstraction ranges from the distinctly minimalist to the more maximalist. In everything he does, you can still see traces of where he comes from, a small town by Mjøsa in Norway with abundant nature and serious winters. His paintings often draw as much inspiration from the urban environments of the city as the nature from which he himself comes. Gangdal has made a name for himself in recent years with his distinct brushstrokes. Among other things, he has exhibited at Atelier Oslo, Kösk, Duer, Hos Arne and has had international collaborations.
