26—27 April

Robert Johansson

(He/him)
Address: Eterfabrikken, Eterveien 12, 0690 Oslo
The studio is open Saturday 26 April from 12-17

I work with place-sensitive connections – genius loci – with works consisting of several components that form an entity. Like an essay, the works have some in-depth close-study parts, while other parts have direct and sketch-like qualities, all in close dialogue with the material and its tactility.

The projects are extensive in terms of concentration, time and execution. They are characterized by collaboration and/or audience participation through multiple senses and conversations. The works have a low threshold value, encompassing a spectrum of artistic and social dimensions. The latter is important in my work, through the concept of stratum – connected layers with their own character, demarcating from each other, but nevertheless gathered into a whole.
I work with drawing, pyrography, sculpture, installation, performance and print.
