I work with Photography. My background in theater and my education from the Institute of Photography in Bergen in the early 90s have influenced my artistic expression, where staged photography is a strong feature. I have been a clear voice with staged photography on the contemporary art scene in Norway since the late 90s. I am interested in reflecting the society we live in, and how we humans try to adapt to a world and a society that is constantly changing. I am interested in photography’s insistent presence and the strength of the visual, as well as photography’s ability to convey truth with modifications.
I work with exhibitions, commissions and photo books.
I am affiliated with Galleri Riis in Oslo, where I exhibit regularly.

In my studio
I will be showing work from projects I am working on and also some of what I have just finished, I will answer any questions that may arise. I will sell photo books, and give away postcards as far as it goes.
I plan to provide salt sticks and grapes.
Planned projects and exhibitions
I am now working on two new projects, a solo exhibition at Vedholmen Gallery in Os, outside Bergen, Norway. “Glipe” which opens May 3, 2025, where I am this year’s festival exhibitor.
I am also working on a project called “Along the coast” together with 3 other artists, it deals with 4 harbors in Rogaland, Norway. What is happening with the slow journey, what is the significance of the harbor today. My harbor is Kvitsøy, I am working with old photos from the harbor there and new stagings, the project is in the starting phase and is expected to be completed in 2026. Otherwise, I am continuously working on new exhibition projects.
