Through my work, I explore the field that lies between documentation, staging and storytelling. It can be themes relating to time, memory and identity or interpersonal relationships. I work across different media, but the camera-based has always been at the center as a tool for sorting, arranging and putting together different narratives. My work includes film/video, sculpture, installation, text and the artist’s book. For the past two years, I have collaborated with Atle Hynne on exhibition projects at Heimdal and Sandefjord Art Association. The direction of the exhibitions became the relationship and references we both have to the three-dimensional and the interaction between what touches our individual starting points within the camera-based and painting. We worked in large and small formats and played our way through formal, spatial and conceptual issues.

"Witnesses of an Event" is a larger project I am currently working on, which, in addition to an artist publication, includes several photographs, an upcoming film, and texts. The leporello is a first, more immediate, and poetic approach to the overarching theme of the project— a physical object that represents time in space. It measures 11 x 17 cm and comes in a custom-made box.
