In my studio
In my studio, you can meet me! And look at my mirrors, trolldeigfigurines, tektiles, lavenderpillows and paintings.
I have been working with sculpture from processed mirrors for 25 years. The viewer can see the work, themselves and their surroundings at the same time and become part of a complex network – a picture of how the world is intertwined.
I draw behind the mirror. In a time-consuming process, I remove the mirror surface with razor blades and polishing, so that glass and mirror remain on the same surface. Unlike the mirror mazes in amusement parks, my mirrors are pouros. I add something to the mirror by removing something, and explore the psychology, philosophy and symbolism of mirrors. There is high culture and low culture. There is minimalism, surrealism, baroque, everything mixed.

2025 Trolldays & Trollnights. Is my own artist-run gallery, Oslo I arrange 4 exhibitions per year.
2025 Trolldeigcrew. A social club where artists meet for conversations around the table whilst making figures of Trolldeig.
