My cross-disciplinary practice bridges visual arts and scenography, drawing on natural sciences, environmental humanities and occulture. As artist in residence with the research project Anthropogenic Soils project (University of Oslo, NOBA), I explore how soil reveals the boundaries of scientific knowledge, creating fertile points of contact between reality and what lies beyond. Enter the queer, weird, and monstrous, haunting the limits of human understanding and the ways we acquire it. Current projects include mouth-pharynx-cuticle, a nomadic work in Sør-Varanger (August 2025), and Necromantic Kitchen, a collaboration with Lexie Owen at Tenthaus (September 2025). I currently work with Verdensteateret and have a background in theatre, holding an MA in scenography (Norwegian Theatre Academy, 2018) and a BA in costume (LCF, University of the Arts London, 2010).

In my studio
In my studio you can look at in process work from my project “Mouth-Pharynx-Cuticle” and Necromantic Kitchen as well as elements from earlier works such as Pure Filth and “Sluts are Chimera are Sluts are Chimera” dealing with our erotic relations to other organisms and animal derived materials.
Planned projects and exhibitions
In 2025 I am working on two projects with soil as an underlying theme.
In august the installation “Mouth, Pharynx, Cuticle” will haunt 9 different places in Sør-varanger (by the Norwegian-Russian border) over 9 days. The project is shown in collaboration with Anthropogenic Soils and the Norwegian institute of Bioeconomy research as a part of the platform TRE TRE TRE by kurator Hilde Methi.
In September The Necromantic Kitchen, a process-based, performative work in collaboration with artist Lexie Owen, will be exhibited at Tenthaus in Oslo. The work proposes grieving practices that queer the process of processing loss, connecting the metabolism of the graveyard with human processes of digestion. The project gets close to death and the dead, through the appropriation of various traditional food processes, incorporating edible plants, honey and other elements harvested from graveyards.
