I am a multidisciplinary artist who records sites in various states of their world-building processes. With the aim to learn from our surrounding nature and co-existing species, I make intimate close-up readings through e.g. photogrammetry, that relates to satellite mapping and mediation of anthropocentric spaces and monuments. Other means of recording includes analog photos, sound and text, and these translations, often combined, end up in video installations, sculptures, prints or live performances. My works explore the omnipresence of the digital in our experience of the world as well as the inability of technology to adequately articulate matter’s complexity. Recent exhibitions include Kunstsilo, Stavanger Art Museum, EKKM Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia, Fabbrica Del Vapore (Milano), Nitja senter for samtidskunst and Screen City Biennial (Berlin).
