My family comes from a farm located in Frogn where I paint and create sculptures in the barn year-round. Nature and the surroundings serve as sources of inspiration for my choice of colors and materials.
Based on the rooms on the farm, I construct fictional studio spaces that are a fusion of the barns’ architecture. In the fictional space, support beams, objects from the farm, planks, and stacks of paintings are present. The paintings in my studio paintings reference painters from art history who work with abstraction and color.
