I am a visual artist based in Oslo, holding a bachelor’s degree from Oslo National Academy of the Arts and currently completing my master’s studies at the same institution.

My interdisciplinary practice focuses on the interplay between the material and the immaterial. Through painting, photography, and installation, I explore phenomena such as the shadow, the ghost, the imprint, and the reflection. By giving these elements a central role in my work, I aim to create pieces where everyday reality is questioned and shifted. I strive to illuminate hidden dimensions of the everyday and open up new ways of understanding our surroundings.

A blue free standing curtain structure is placed in front of a light box with pearls attached to it. In the middle of the curtain it is like someone has placed their hands to separate the curtains and let the yellow light in, but no hands are visible, only the imprint in the textile.

In a corner a canvas is attached to a wall, an unstreched canvas. The motif is a pillow with a hole, but painted as if it were amde out of metal, almost as a jewellry. The background is painted in dark blue and dark green.

In my studio

In my studio, visitors can gain insight into my artistic practice through both completed and ongoing projects. Various representations of motifs are displayed alongside palettes, prints, and sketches, offering a glimpse into my working process. During the spring of 2025, I am working on my graduation project for the group exhibition with my class at the academy.
