Axl Le (Yi Le ) is a Chinese multimedia interdisciplinary visual artist and filmmaker, now work and live in Oslo Norway. Using digital media as his primary artistic practice, his main forms of work include video/film, 3D animation, games, and artificial intelligence technology.
His work addresses themes such as techno-criticism, exploration of self-identity, and science fiction. Axl’s work has been featured on platforms such as NOWNESS Asia, VideotageHK, Videoclub UK, CIFRA and Arte Tracks. He has exhibited his work in venues including Art Basel HK, Loop Barcelona, Microclima Venezia, Siggraph, MAO Torino, CICA Museum, Tank Shanghai, and Himalayan Center Shanghai. Additionally, his films have garnered significant attention and awards at international animation film festivals.

In my studio
During Oslo Open, I will offer an inside look at my artistic process, showing works in progress that reveal how my 3D art, animation, and AI-based projects come together. Visitors can see my sources of inspiration—from early sketches to digital prototypes—and learn how I integrate emerging technologies into my practice. I look forward to engaging in conversation with fellow creatives, as well as newcomers curious about the world of 3D and AI art.
