Anna Fabricius is a Swedish visual artist working with film and photography in fiction, documentaries, art and dance film. As a photographer, Anna is invested in how the psychology of characters can shape the visual language and create a visual vulnerability and reaction. Through several years of work experience and over four years of education, she has developed a sharp, naturalistic and emotional approach as a visual artist. She has several award-winning short films and her work has been exhibited in galleries and been shown at international film festivals.
Anna works with themes such as body image, body pressure, gender and the dynamic between femininity/masculinity. She emphasizes how we relate to our own bodies and body in relation to society, space and environment.
