I print mostly figuratively with Oil and acrylic on canvas.I want to create open and recognizable stories, work out what is important in the expression, dampen disturbing elements. I am interested in relationships between people and people are therefore often the subject of my pictures.

In my studio
First of all, I want to show off some of my paintings, by hanging them up in advance, which I hope can be starting point for a good dialogue. Simple serving.
Planned projects and exhibitions
Currently working on a new series paintings that are about presence. Will participate in Vårutstillingen Nittedal 2025. Has paintings for sale at Purenkel Galleri Grünerløkka
CV
I am from Stamnes in Vestland, live in Oslo and have a studio in Schweigaardsgate. I have, among other things, education in “Dynamic pedagogy and creative activity” at the KORDA Institute, Stockholm,1982-86. and am a student of visual artist Roar Kjærstad (2022- ), visual artist Dag Lydersen (2013-2022) and sculptor Marit Krogh (2019-2023). I have participated in summer courses at the Nansen School in Lillehammer, summer courses at Øland 2014, and been a student at Nydalen Art School. University of Oslo, lecture Norwegian art history, 2013-2014. Oslo Academy in the Arts ,lecture series on art history 2019-2020. I have had several solo exhibitions in addition to participating in a number of group exhibitions at various galleries in Norway.
