In my work I am concerned with processes in nature and how this reflects society in general.
I often begin with a physical, raw energy, to then go in and make adjustments and attend to details; drawing to bring forth the darkness, erasing to reveal the light.
The traces of the erased become a part of the drawing and adds the physical expression I´m looking for. It´s an investigation in the rough and unpredictable in the drawing process, where the challenge is how far I can take it. It’s all a work of mourning, where rage and despair over the world situation go together with a quiet meditation on our own mortality.
Drawing

In my studio, I will show both finished and in-process drawings leading up to new exhibitions. The works will hang on the walls, and a publication of a series of drawings will be available. All questions and conversations are welcome.
