My art is about observing the small, important details of life. It’s about seeing how snowflakes float and land in the snow, or noticing how seed pods open in the sunlight. It’s about understanding the connections between all the small components that make up the larger whole. I try to capture some of these magical everyday events and mysteries and illustrate them by creating three-dimensional objects or visualizing them through my Land Art projects.

My engagement lies in conveying themes visually – to create awareness. The visual has an inherent power to spark curiosity in humans when words fall short. I try to harness this power to the fullest to showcase the things that engage me. The works end up telling stories about politics, human interaction, and small coincidences that end up changing the course of world history.

The handmade is important in my objects. It gives them a tactile quality and a personal expression. I work with old things I find and mix them with new materials. These elements are combined with traditional silver and blacksmithing techniques, making them durable for the future. In my Land Art projects, it’s the natural, biodegradable materials and the temporary nature of the work that are key. Here, the focus is on using materials that decompose and give something back to the place where the work is located
