Address: am•ok , Osterhaus gate 21D, 0183 Oslo
Floor: 1
The studio is open Sunday 27 April from 12-17
HILDE CATHRINE KJEPSO works with collage, painting and drawing. Geometry and fragments of sentences points back to Bauhaus and the ‘cut-up writing’ of the Dadaists. Contemporary life, time, rhythm and art itself are underlying subjects. Visually too, there’s always something underneath. In a neverending collage series the passing of time is documented. The paintings comes from the collages, but has evolved into something different with elements from the cultural heritage of the west part of Norway. Kjepso studied Art in Bergen and in England and lives by Akerselva in Oslo.
Collage, painting, drawing, mixed media
